Job Purpose
Responsible for delivering the Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Program’s outcomes associated with manufacturing equipment and processes across the organization. The candidate will drive and support the sites with processes, development, and implementation of activities required during a cyber-attack (shutdown, recovery, and restart) for manufacturing equipment and control systems.
Therefore, coordinating and collaborating with the teams involved to ensure timely delivery and enabling the sites to be fully cyber security ready in the event of a cyber-attack. Additionally, the candidate will also participate in projects associated with new technologies at sites to further enhance the manufacturing cybersecurity posture.
Job position at a glance
Candidate will have to be actively involved in both, kick-off and periodic follow-up meetings with manufacturing sites world-wide. Hence, the candidate will not only have to be able to successfully navigate diverse environments, with strong awareness of cultural differences, to collaborate effectively with global and local teams, but the candidate must also hold strong IT and OT-Engineering technical background to understand and learn overall end-to-end Manufacturing processes and its underlaying computerized Industrial Control Systems across manufacturing sites.
Equally, the candidate is expected to not only have the ability to anticipate or uncover any shortcoming in networked computerized infrastructure on manufacturing sites and its interfacing dependencies with global applications should a Cyber Attack scenario was to occur, but to propose, promote, and participate in projects associated with new technologies at sites to further enhance the manufacturing cybersecurity posture.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of design and operation of automation systems (ICS/OT) across different platforms.
- Skilled in cybersecurity framework for ICS environment (ISA/IEC 62443).
- Understand how manufacturing facilities and automation systems can be shut down and be recovered either in normal operations or in a Cyber-Attack.
- Knowledge of IT and OT-Engineering networks and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Standards / Interfaces for IT and OT-Engineering systems.
- Able to develop standard Procedures / Processes for Cyber Security associated with different Platforms and Technologies.
- Good knowledge in Computerized System Validation, GAMP, GxP environments.
- Able to develop & deliver OT-Engineering activities (e.g. Backup & Recovery / Patch Management / Remote Access / User Access).
- Establish & maintain new / modified end-to-end OT-Engineering services / processes / procedures for Automation /Manufacturing.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good collaboration and interpersonal skills as the role entails working across all business units and manufacturing facilities.
- Good project organizational and implementation skills.
Background (Preferred education and experience level)
- University degree in IT or Engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.).
- Fluent in English is a must, and proficient in other languages is preferable.
- 5 years of experience in IT or Engineering/Automation, preferably in either Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in management of remote resources.
- Project management skills including planning, resource & quality.
- Proven in resolving software /automation problems in IT, OT-Engineering, and underlaying systems.
- Communications skills with the ability to present ideas & solutions.
- Skills in Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) within the area of Computerized System Validation (CSV).
- Knowledge of GxP / HSE & Quality systems within the pharmaceutical industry.
